Bronze Sculpted as a Driftwood Horse

This life size horse stands in the outdoor sculpture garden of the Hunter Museum of Art in Chattanooga. Even upon close inspection, the eye is fooled into believing this bronze sculpture is surely made out of driftwood, but it’s not. This beautiful horse was sculpted by Deborah Butterfield.
